Introducing… Arlo Guthrie
Arlo Guthrie, son of Woody Guthrie, is an American folk singer, songwriter and political activist who often sang of protest against social injustice.
His most famous work is “Alice’s Restaurant Massacre,” a talking blues song, “is a bitingly satirical protest against the Vietnam War draft.” In a 2009 interview with Ron Bennington, Guthrie admitted that the song was more an “anti-stupidity” song than an anti-war song.
